🚨 TRAINING EXERCISE | SHADOW RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL 🚨

On Wednesday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Surprise Police Department and Surprise Fire-Medical Department will conduct a joint active threat response training exercise at Shadow Ridge High School.

Community members may notice an increased presence of police, fire and emergency vehicles in and around the campus during the exercise.

This is TRAINING ONLY. There is no actual emergency.

Shadow Ridge High School is closed for Fall Break, and no students will be on campus.

Joint exercises like this allow our first responders to train together in a realistic school environment, strengthen coordination and better prepare to respond should a real emergency occur.

We appreciate Dysart Unified School District for partnering with our public safety teams to provide this important training opportunity.
