Adult Social Care- Since 1981, Benevilla has been an evolving nonprofit helping the community and local citizens, seniors, and disabled adults remain independent as long as possible. Benevilla provides many services including:

Day programs for seniors at four centers located in Surprise, Sun City, and Peoria

HOME SERVICES: In-home help for seniors and homebound adults with the assistance of our 100+ volunteers who provide grocery shopping, emergency errands, assisted transportation to medical appointments, light handyman services. and so much more. We have many community volunteer opportunities and service opportunities, not only with senior citizens but also caring for caregivers, in our child care community services and our intergenerational program. We also have many programs through our senior citizens assistance program and information that provides volunteers who are seniors for seniors.

We’re honored to welcome Dr. Maribeth Gallagher as a featured speaker at Aging Well: Your Journey, Your Way.

Dr. Gallagher is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree in nursing and serves as Director of Hospice of the Valley’s nationally and internationally recognized Dementia Program.

Inspired by her own personal experience supporting a loved one through the dementia journey, she is passionate about helping individuals living with dementia, and the care partners who walk alongside them, experience the highest possible quality of life.
