🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from the moms and staff of Surfside Beach EMS 🌸

Today, we celebrate every mom — the ones raising families, holding homes together, answering late-night calls, comforting others, and showing unconditional love every single day.

From the EMS moms here at Surfside Beach EMS to all moms everywhere:
Thank you for your strength, your compassion, your sacrifice, and your endless heart.

Whether you’re working shifts, cheering from the sidelines, holding your family together behind the scenes, or simply being the person everyone depends on — you are appreciated more than words can say.

To the moms serving our community and the moms supporting those who do:
You are the true everyday heroes.

💗 Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there! 💗

Call 1-866-TURTLE-5 (1-866-887-8535) if you see a sea turtle, a nest, or even tracks.

This evening one of our Surfside Beach EMS members was taking a relaxing stroll over by the boat dock area in Surfside when she noticed this amazing sea turtle hung up. She quickly called another one of our EMS personnel to find out who to call and with in a few minutes of Shelby finding the turtle, Tiffany and Shelby had all the appropriate people including the turtle rescue group, the US coast guard called and on the way. After a successful rescue by Jon Ge**er he was safely turned over to the sea turtle rescue group and is expected to be just fine. Great job Shelby, Tiffany, Jon, USCG, and a very huge shout out to the amazing sea turtle rescue group.

This is a hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) it is a critically endangered marine reptile tangled in fishing line, hanging by a flipper.
