We’d like to remind everyone to please avoid using the firehouse parking lot as a cut-through to access Borough Hall for beach badges or to bypass traffic.

Please note that under N.J.S.A. 39:4-66.2, driving on public or private property to avoid a traffic signal or traffic control device is illegal and may result in a summons and 2 points on your driver’s license.

Recently, we’ve had multiple instances of vehicles speeding through the lot for quick access. While the lot may appear empty at times, it can become active within seconds as members respond to emergencies in personal vehicles or apparatus respond from the station.

For the safety of our members and the public, we ask that you do not enter or drive through the parking lot unless you are here for official fire company business.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and hope you all have a safe and enjoyable summer season.

As we celebrate National EMS Week, support the emergency responders who serve our communities every day.

Beginning Sunday, May 17 through May 31, 2026, the Ocean County EMS Officers Association will be conducting a countywide bottled water drive. All donated water will be distributed to area rehab units and EMS agencies based on operational needs and the amount of supplies received.

Your support helps keep our emergency services personnel hydrated and ready during emergency incidents, training operations, and large-scale responses throughout Ocean County.

Drop off locations are listed below on the flyer. Every donation makes a difference in supporting those who respond when our communities need them most.

Ocean County’s Boat Flare Disposal Program is back for 2026:

📍 Ocean County Fire Academy, Waretown

In the past 3 years, residents have helped us collect 5,150+ flares, keeping hazardous materials out of the waste stream and protecting Barnegat Bay and our coastal communities.

✔️ Open to Ocean County residents
✔️ Max 10 flares per person
