Surf City Fire Company was proud to stand alongside our fellow Island fire companies and first responders, walking side by side in honor and remembrance of the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the sacrifices made that day.

Twenty-five years later, the memories and emotions of September 11th remain with us. For the members of Surf City Fire Company, it was an honor to take part in this meaningful walk, standing together with our neighboring departments and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We walk in their memory. We honor their courage. We carry their legacy forward.

Game Day Fundraiser!

On July 23rd, we took delivery of our new ambulance, 497! This ambulance was purchased by the Borough of Ship Bottom and will proudly serve the residents and visitors of both Ship Bottom and Surf City.

As many of you know, on July 3, 2024, we became the primary EMS provider for the Borough of Ship Bottom. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Ship Bottom Mayor and Borough Council for their continued support and the trust they have placed in our EMS over the past two years.

We would also like to thank VCI Emergency Vehicle Specialists for their outstanding craftsmanship in building our new ambulance.

We look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of emergency medical care to both communities. You’ll be seeing 497 in service soon!
