Today, she's not only regained stability and purpose but has also joined our team as a volunteer, inspiring others with her story. What's more, she spent an hour delighting our kids with her presence, showcasing the profound impact of hope and resilience.

Due to the extremely high temperatures this week, STREETREACH is experiencing a significant surge in calls requesting emergency shelter from heat-related distress. Given that many agencies operate on limited hours or are unavailable after hours and on weekends, and considering STREETREACH's shelter suspension as of June 1st, we have been compelled to provide assistance to individuals residing in vehicles due to the shortage of shelter options in Brunswick County....once again. We want to extend a big THANK YOU to our faith-base community helping make this possible.

There are other agencies receiving local support for emergency sheltering. Why are they not providing it? Individuals telling us agencies not answering or returning calls. We are not trying to be negative, just trying to take action & meet needs.

We are just a small ministry and doing all we can. Are there any operational cooling stations within the county? This heat is dangerous for some! We have disabled seniors, children, individuals working that just can't afford rent. Sometimes you have to look past rules & have compassion. All said in love!

🍽️ Eat-In Meals (Mon–Thurs):
Breakfast & lunch served at select school sites (no sign-up needed!)

Take meals home for the week!

📍 Pick up at: South Brunswick High, West Brunswick High, Town Creek Middle

• 7-day boxes: Mondays, 1–3 PM
• 3-day boxes: Thursdays, 1–3 PM
