STREETREACH PO Box 1331, Shallotte, NC 28459 A 100% Volunteer Ministry. "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them” (Proverbs 3:27 NLT). The homeless population is increasing across the surrounding counties and Brunswick County is not exempt. We feel this issue needs to be addressed, and that we need to take responsibility for the 'homeless' residing in this County. Brunswick County Streetreach volunteers are working to tackle the problems surrounding this issue & sharing the Gospel. So I lost my entire life in the blink of an eye. My job, my home, gave my mom my kids so they have somewhere to go. Im lucky to still have a car; which is also close to the end... I've been sleeping in my car at gas station for the past 3 nights. I need help! I've never been in this situation before and I'm soooo freakin' lost. PLEASE HELP!!!

PRAISE REPORT...

While we see many individuals on our property each week, there's many more we help each day who reach out in desperation online or by phone. Circumstances put them out of a home, often without the safety net of family or friends that many of us are blessed with. Thanks to your support, we become their safety net.

In the last 30 days 5 families have left temporary shelter site and moved into their own homes.

We give GOD praise!!!

Today has been very emotional.
A gentleman stopped by and asked could we put some gas in his car. He was thin, fragile and appeared broken. We asked where he was heading and his reply was...
"I'm thinking of flipping a coin. Heads I go to a hospital, tails I end my life.I just can't take anymore. I have lost everything."

A single coin flip could have ended his life, instead he stayed for awhile. Then after a long conversation, prayer and many shared tears we were able to get him into a long-term shelter.PRAISE GOD!!!

Sometimes life feels hopeless...put its not. We have to keep pushing. This is only temporary. We pray he will get the help he needs, find Jesus, and a life worth living. Life can be hard and we are so thankful for getting to share a little time and encouragement with Dan today.
