TSFD responded to a call for a wild fire area of County B and Dedham rd. Summit Fire and DNR Fire crews also responded. A second fire was also found by responding units and quickly extinguished.. thank you to all that were able to respond.

You own the Twin Ports first fully electric fire rig. Why electric? It’s smaller and much more maneuverable, allowing access to tighter spaces. It can power a mobile emergency operations center for days. And it saves a small fortune in fuel costs by using our solar array for energy. I know there’s a lot of outdated information about EVs but don’t worry. This truck is just fine in cold weather and has enough juice for whatever comes her way. It joins a growing fleet of city EVs and helps prove we are one of the most innovative and efficient cities in the state.

The rig isn’t as small as it looks in this picture.
That’s just a very large Fire Chief.
