We want to congratulate Nicholas Olson for winning a spot on School Board! We are incredibly proud to have run alongside him and cannot wait to see all the amazing things he will continue to do. Congratulations to Laura Gapske and Sara Schubert McKone for also winning a seat.

We want to thank everyone who supported us in our campaign. Whether it was your time or your votes it did not go unnoticed! While we didn’t win, we know it wasn’t for nothing. Hearing people use their first time votes for us, seeing kids get involved by sign holding, and getting to meet and run together are all things we will cherish for years to come.

IT’S TODAY!!! Election Day is here! Polls opened at 7 am and close at 8 pm! Vote Nicholas Olson, Shelly Moen, and Emma Sventek for Superior School Board!

We will be out here holding signs throughout the day. We thank everyone who has shown support for us.

Often times teachers are encouraged to do self care but aren’t provided with the tools to do so such as in school mental health resources. I often think of the analogy when you’re on a plane and you are told “you need to put your oxygen mask on first before helping others.” Teachers give so much and pour their hearts daily into our districts kiddos. We need to not only encourage but provide effective support and mental health resources for our teachers.

We wanted to take a moment to thank the PTSA for organizing and hosting the school board candidate forum on Wednesday evening! We also wanted to thank those of you who attended in person or watched on live. It was so encouraging for us to see the overwhelming support this upcoming generation has!
