Bargen family Christmas Lights Computer controlled lights dance to music Back in 2010 i got some old lights and started putting them up. Something i never done on my house.

Something clicked and i loved it by the end of the season i had music and 3000 lights. After I took them down i hit the sales and loaded up on lights for the next year. Also purchasing light o rama controllers so i could seqence them to music. Now i have a 200 amp service with 4 dedicated 20 amp breakers for the lights and already planning the next years breaking 20 thousand lights and more contro

llers. By the way the electric bill for dec 2011 70 bucks not bad for 13000 dancing lights but the key is dancing. In short learning that so many people love what i have done so fare and seeing the smiles on there faces is priceless and i will continue.

I thought i would give a heads up on this years display. For the past 2 years i have also been working on the light show for Candy Cane Lane. This made my life very interesting last year going to work at 7 am leaving work at 3:30pm and working on light shows till about 12 am and did that 7 days a week for over 2 weeks to get things going. That combined with the 15th year of ccl this year and the added cost over 400 dollars in lift rental needed the Bargen family light light show is going to move to the park and get added to that light show this will save me time that i can invest into the one show. I'm also getting into new technology and folks there's no school or turn key kits available on this stuff i have to research, plan, design, build, and program. a new song takes weeks just in sequencing and all of the fixtures are custom made and wired i wore out 2 soldering irons last year. But as for now the plan is our show will be back for 2018 bigger and better.

Work on the lights has begun. Well actually mostly computer work lots of new songs not much for new lights. Hopefully we'll light this up thanksgiving night at 6pm. We're going to try something new after Christmas. We are going to rock on to the new year.

The light show is running Sunday through Thursday 5:30pm to 9:30 pm and Friday and Saturday 5:30 to 10:30. The show consists of over 25,000 lights on 80 computer controlled channels custom sequenced to music. We are located at 655 n. Central ave. Superior. Tune your radio to 99.7 fm and please show our neighbors respect and some mercy. Don't forget to visit Candy Cane Lane on the west side of Superior
