Online scams are on the rise! Do you know what to do if you think you’ve been scammed? Learn how to protect yourself from online scams at a FREE presentation with Digital Navigator Ethan Compton from the CLICK & Learn program on Tuesday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. He’ll provide tips for avoiding scams and will also tell you what to do if you think you’ve been scammed. No registration required.

Douglas County offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026 in observance of the Spring Holiday, with the exception of the County Clerk's Office.

The County Clerk's Office will be open from 8 AM - 12 PM (noon) to accept registered write-in candidate paperwork for the County Board candidates for the April 7, 2026, election. No other services will be available during this time.

Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 8 a.m.

The Superior Community Gardens Association returns to Superior Public Library next Saturday, March 14 at 1:30 p.m. for a FREE "Seed Starting 101" program! Get a jump start on the growing season and learn how to start seeds indoors. Learn about the equipment you’ll need, when to plant, and which plants should be started indoors. Browse a selection of gardening books and get some inspiration for your own garden! No registration required. This event is free and open to all!

Please do not travel unless you must. The ADRC of Douglas County will not take walk-in appointments today (Friday, March 13th, 2026) due to the inclement weather. Please call 715-395-1234 and we can help you over the phone. Stay warm!

As inclement weather is upon us, this is a reminder that the courthouse and Government Center will be open. However, individual offices may be closed or opening late due to staffing or the ability to get to work safely. Most offices offer online appointments or the ability to do business virtually.
