Advocates across Washington are urging state legislators to act now to stabilize funding for crime victim services, warning that without action in the SFY27 budget, survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and other violent crimes will lose access to help when they need it most

Crime victim services are core public safety infrastructure. They make it possible for survivors to escape violence, for children to disclose abuse in trauma informed settings, and for communities to intervene before harm escalates. When these services disappear, the impacts show up immediately in courts, hospitals, schools, and law enforcement.‑informed settings, and for communities to intervene before harm escalates.

Las intercesoras de todo Washington les urgimos a los legisladores estatales a actuar ahora para estabilizar los fundos de los servicios a las víctimas de delitos, advirtiendo que sin medidas en el presupuesto del SFY27, los supervivientes de violencia doméstica, agresión sexual, abuso infantil y otros delitos violentos perderán el acceso a la ayuda cuando más la necesitan

Los servicios para víctimas de delitos son una infraestructura fundamental de seguridad pública. We would also like to say that if you are still thinking of registering to run/walk you can do so the day of the event but T-shirts will not be guaranteed as T-shirts are limited. Runners/walkers please arrive at 9:30am.

If you are a group of 5 or more from a local business we will be able to pick up registration forms and payment from a coordinated person. Pick up due date will be October 14, 2025. 💟

💜💜💜1st ANNUAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS 5k💜💜💜

This year we decided to raise awareness for Domestic Violence by making a 5k. Everyone is welcome to join. This will be a family event. Proceeds will be going to our Domestic Violence unit to help survivors. We hope to see you all there.

We would also like to thank for hosting this event.

This year for Sexual Assault Awareness Month we were able to partner up with Miss Salinas and Mrs Diaz at Mabton Jr/Sr High to be able to do a Walk A Mile event for their 7th and 8th graders. We are very grateful for the partnership we have been able to make and spreading the word about our services and other resources. Thank you to the staff members that Walked a Mile in her shoes 👠

Este año, con motivo del Mes de Concientización sobre la Agresión Sexual, colaboramos con la Srta. Salinas y la Sra. Díaz de la escuela secundaria Mabton para organizar una caminata de una milla para sus alumnos de séptimo y octavo grado. Estamos muy agradecidos por la colaboración que hemos logrado y por difundir nuestros servicios y otros recursos. Gracias a los maestros que caminaron una milla en sus zapatos 👠
