What an incredible honor! 💙✨

Today, September 5, 2026, I am truly humbled and grateful to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the UNESCO Center for Peace Induction & Oath-Taking Ceremony at the Yakima Convention Center.

I am also deeply honored to be selected as one of ten distinguished honorees, recognized as a Business Owner & Community Leader for leadership, service, and meaningful impact in our community.

For me, this recognition represents so much more than an award. It represents the many years of serving families, supporting small businesses, helping our community, creating opportunities, and believing that when we work together, we can make a difference.

I am especially grateful to be part of this celebration honoring Ambassador Patience Karsten and Ambassador Sheriff Baldeh and celebrating a legacy of leadership and service.

🚨 $1,000 REWARD – PLEASE HELP US IDENTIFY THIS DRIVER 🚨

On August 22, 2026, at approximately 2:27 AM, surveillance video captured a vehicle crashing into Silvia’s Professional Tax Services and then leaving the scene.

A few days ago, I shared video footage of the incident. Since then, the Sunnyside Police Department has collected additional video footage from nearby residents as part of the investigation.

I originally offered a $500 reward, but unfortunately no one has come forward with information that has identified the person responsible. I am now increasing the reward to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification of the person responsible for this hit-and-run.

This was not a minor incident. The crash caused serious structural damage to our building, and repairs will cost thousands of dollars. In addition, we are being left with a high insurance deductible for damage caused by someone else’s careless actions.

Someone knows who was driving that vehicle. If you recognize the vehicle, know who may have been involved, saw anything that night, or have additional camera footage, please come forward.
