Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our children are the future of the City of Sunland Park, and every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

This year marks the first time the City of Sunland Park has implemented a Back-to-School Expo of this magnitude. Through the support of community partners, volunteers, donors, and city staff, we are taking a proactive approach to help local families prepare for the upcoming school year.

Students will have access to backpacks, school supplies, uniforms, tennis shoes, haircuts, and other resources while supplies last. More importantly, this event reflects our commitment to investing in the success of our children and supporting the families who work hard every day to provide for them.

This is only the beginning. We look forward to building upon this outreach effort and expanding opportunities for our youth and families in the years ahead.

Together, we can help ensure that every child starts the school year with confidence and the tools needed to succeed.

🚨 COMMUNITY NOTICE / AVISO A LA COMUNIDAD 🚨

Santa Teresa High School will host a planned law enforcement training exercise conducted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, 2026.

Community members may notice an increased law enforcement presence, emergency vehicles, and simulated emergency response activities on campus during the evening hours.

✅ This is only a training exercise.
✅ There is no emergency.
✅ There is no threat to students, staff, or the community.

Thank you for your understanding as we work with our public safety partners to support preparedness and campus safety.

La Escuela Preparatoria Santa Teresa será sede de un ejercicio de entrenamiento planificado realizado por la Oficina de Aduanas y Protección Fronteriza de los Estados Unidos (CBP) el jueves 4 y viernes 5 de junio de 2026.

Los miembros de la comunidad podrían observar una mayor presencia de agentes del orden público, vehículos de emergencia y actividades simuladas de respuesta a emergencias en el plantel durante las horas de la tarde y noche.
