Susquehanna Valley CASA - Voices for Children

Susquehanna Valley CASA - Voices for Children Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children serving Northumberland, Lycoming, Snyder and Union Counties in Pennsylvania.

Susquehanna Valley CASA is a free-standing 501c3, non-profit organization. A non-profit 501c3 organization advocating for abused and neglected children in the Court system. Serving Lycoming, Union, Snyder and Northumberland Counties. CASA Volunteers are ordinary citizens specially trained to understand the plight of children who have suffered abuse and neglect, and who find themselves without proper parenting, oversight and environment. Judges appoint CASA volunteers to be the Voice for the Child, and the eyes and ears of the Court. CASA volunteers gather information, spend time with their CASA child, and report back to the Court their findings and recommendations. They provide an objective view of the circumstances surrounding these children. They focus solely on the best interest of the Child.
