Relevant First Amendment caselaw permits us to hide or delete certain comments on our social media accounts. The following will be hidden or deleted:

a. Comments directly advocating violence or illegal activity. b. Comments containing obscenity, which is defined as sexually explicit and/or

pornographic content that is patently offensive, appeals to prurient interest, and lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value;
c. Comments that directly promote or advocate that we illegally discriminate based on race, age, religion, gender, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other legally protected class;
d. Comments containing links to malware and/or malicious content that affects the normal functioning of a computer system, server, or browser;
e. Duplicate comments posted repeatedly within a short period of time;
f. Comments containing actual defamation against a person, either as determined by a court or comments that are patently defamatory by easily discovered facts;
g. Comments that contain images or other content that violate the intellectual property or copyright rights of someone else, if the owner of that property notifies us that the property was posted in a comment on our social media account(s). h. Comments that contain a hyperlink to any website other than those controlled by the BST&G Fire District. This will be done without regard to the viewpoint of the comment containing such a link or the content of the site to which the link redirects.

This morning before shift change, Rescue 352 and Engine 352 officially relocated to their new home at Station 352.

Located at 485 Wilson Rd, these trucks will occupy our second fire house along with Delaware County EMS Medic 11.

We know we have been terrible about posting progress pictures of the construction of Station 352 and Medic 11, the construction process is really cumbersome. However, there is great news!

We have started moving in and will become operational on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 0700 hours!

This is a monumental moment for the fire district, Delaware County EMS and the entire community. We are so thankful for our residents, because we couldnโ€™t have done this without your continued and amazing support!

Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash with Fires on I-71

Delaware County, Ohio; April 12, 2026

On the evening of April 11, our crews responded to a devastating multi-vehicle crash on I-71 near the SR 36/37 interchange involving multiple vehicles and significant fire conditions.

Firefighters and EMS personnel were faced with an extremely challenging and rapidly evolving scene, requiring simultaneous fire suppression, rescue, and patient care.

Tragically, three individuals, including an infant, lost their lives in this incident. Several others were transported with injuries.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their loved ones, and all those affected by this tragedy.

We are incredibly proud of the professionalism, skill, and compassion demonstrated by all responding personnel under such difficult circumstances. Incidents like this leave a lasting impact, and support resources are being made available to our members.

This incident remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

We ask the public to keep everyone involved in your thoughts and to remember the importance of staying alert, slowing down, and maintaining safe distances, especially in construction zones.
