We are a nonprofit agency serving the counties of Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union for support services for people who are blind or visually impaired and the prevention of blindness through vision screenings and educational programming Central Susquehanna Sight Services (CSSS) has been providing education and vision screenings for the prevention of blindness and services for th

e blind and visually impaired for over 70 years. A member of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, we are currently the only agency in the area that specifically serves people who are blind or visually impaired. CSSS is a non-profit organization and receives funding from the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way, Berwick Area United Way, United Way of Columbia and Montour Counties, the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, grants, and through private donations.
