📢 2027 Envirothon Date Announced
As we dive into a new school year, we’re excited to share that the 2027 Pennsylvania Envirothon will take place May 26 at Camp Krislund! Each year, Envirothon empowers students to explore natural resources, think critically, and lead with purpose. Stay tuned for updates and resources as we gear up for another great competition season.

This morning a few of our office staff went to Faus Farms outside of Sunbury to present the farm with the 2026 Northumberland County Conservation District Farmer of the Year Award. Faus Farms continues to implement good conservation practices are are great stewards of the land that they farm.

Both Senator Lynda Culver and PA State Rep. Michael Stender were also in attendance for the presentation. Senator Culver and Representative Stender both presented the farm with a citation from the PA Senate and the PA House for their dedication to conservation.

Please join us in congratulating Faus Farms for being awarded the 2026 Northumberland County Conservation District Farmer of the Year Award.

Check out the poster contest for youth in grades K-12!

We are looking for artists who would like to share their wildlife-related pieces of various types at the annual Wildlife Art Show at the Montour Preserve during our annual Pack the Preserve event on Sept. 26, 2026. It is a great way to showcase your work for others to appreciate and support and potentially to sell any wildlife art-related pieces.

Also, we are accepting entries for a new Voice for the Vulnerable Student Poster Contest through Friday, Sept. 25 with some prizes on the line.
