Today, Susquehanna Valley United Way brought together the people and organizations working every day to strengthen our region. 💙

Hosted at CSIU, our Funded Partner Meeting welcomed many of our 56 funded partners for a meaningful time of connection, collaboration, and conversation centered around our Impact Pillars: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.

Together, we discussed some of the biggest challenges facing our communities — including transportation, childcare, housing instability, food insecurity, and other barriers impacting local families and individuals. More importantly, it was a chance for the “doers” in our community to come together, share ideas, support one another, and continue building partnerships that lead to real solutions.

Susquehanna Valley United Way is proud to stand alongside local nonprofits providing invaluable services and programs throughout our region.

Thank you to all who attended and for the incredible work you do every single day. The impact you make matters.

On Friday, you saw what’s possible when a community shows up.

Now here’s what that day made possible.

Because of Day of Action and the support behind it, we’re able to invest directly into local nonprofits through mini-grants. These funds help projects go further, last longer, and create real impact beyond a single day.

This year, we’ve set aside up to $5,250 in mini-grants, allowing each of our 14 project sites to be reimbursed for project expenses up to $375. It’s our largest mini-grant investment yet.

From refreshed playgrounds to improved community spaces and critical updates for nonprofit facilities, these projects don’t stop when the day ends. They continue to serve the people who rely on them every day.

This work is powered by volunteers and made possible by the partners who stand behind it.

Thank you to our major Day of Action sponsors:
🟢 Geisinger
🔵 CSIU / Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit
🟠 UGI Utilities, Inc.

We’re also grateful to our Event Sponsors, whose support helped cover the essentials like t-shirts and project supplies. Their investment ensured every volunteer and project site had what they needed for a successful day.

And to our In-Kind partners, thank you for helping fuel the day and keeping our volunteers energized and ready to go.

Stronger spaces. Stronger community. 💙

Grateful for the Fulton Bank team and their hard work at The Milton Public Library during Day of Action. It takes many hands to keep spaces like this running - and your impact will be felt by everyone who walks through those doors.

Thank you for being part of it.
