OpenSnow is forecasting 5-10" of snow at the cabin this week, while the Corral Creek road remains open. It's a perfect time (with the changing leaves) to make a trip while you still can. Maybe Todd Schwarz will see you there! Enjoy!

Corral Creek Road is open and in great shape. There are a few downed trees on the trail and a fair amount of snow begins about 1.25 miles from the cabin as of May 11, Mother's Day. I'd guess there's around 3-4 feet of snow at the cabin and a bit of fresh snow is expected May 12-14. More conditions to follow. https://photos.app.goo.gl/QyszPDzfbJtk6Bmz8

It has been my priority to do some sort of hike of remembrance on Veteran's Day since I had long had a day off to do so. This year that wasn't the case so I went a day early. The flowers aren't quite popping yet and it's a little muddy here and there, but the Corral Creek Trail is green and beautiful. The cabin is in great condition and was recently spiffed up. Thanks to whomever did the deep cleaning!

The Corral Creek Road is still open and you'll find a firm boot track to the Cabin for some early winter scenery. I'm still learning to fly my drone, but stitched together some of my video from my trip on November 5. Cheers!

The Corral Creek road is open and about 3-4' of snow is still around the cabin. Snowshoes or skis are required towards the top of the switchbacks. It's a unique and beautiful time to visit, but don't expect a trail. I'll post some photos below.
