Buckskin Bill: the last Idaho Mountain Man at the Ski and Heritage Museum thru March 26th

He was born Sylvan Ambrose Hart in 1906, he moved to the Idaho wilderness, on Five Mile Bar on the Salmon River during the Great Depression. Come explore his world and the items he made during his life on The River of No Return.

Stanley Dog Sled Rendezvous - Sunday, March 13th, 2011

Mushers and sled dogs from Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, and other places to compete in a variety of race events, each for a different dog class, including a 60-mile race, 40-mile race, 20-mile race, and a junior/beginner 8-mile race open to skijoring as demo.
