💚🤍Growing in Excellence, One Practice at a Time! 💚🤍

On Friday, our Chestnut Oaks Middle School faculty and staff engaged in meaningful, school-level professional development focused on strengthening instruction and student achievement.

🔹 We explored MTSS strategies to better support the academic and behavioral needs of every learner.
🔹 We took a deep dive into testing data to identify trends, celebrate growth, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
🔹 We analyzed student writing samples and practiced evaluating them against state-level scoring rubrics and benchmarks to strengthen our understanding of expectations and ensure students are prepared to demonstrate their learning.

This work is about more than data—it’s about using what we learn to make intentional instructional decisions that move students forward. When we learn, reflect, collaborate, and grow together, excellence becomes a daily practice!

Our Falcon Family Kickoff/MeetThe Principal was such a success. Thank you to every faculty & staff member who helped to make last night so wonderful. Thank you to our faith based partner Grace Cathedral of Sumter SC, the food was delicious and very much appreciated. Thank you to our principal Mrs. Mitchell and Asst. Principal Mrs. McLeod.
