The people of Sumter deserve the opportunity to hear directly from both of us about our records, our priorities, and our different visions for the future of Sumter.

My opponent challenged me to a debate. Challenge accepted.

I’m always happy to talk about Sumter, the people I’m proud to represent, the assistance I provide every day, and the work we’re doing for our community.

We passed the largest tax cut in state history to help South Carolinians keep more of what they earn, invested more than $400 million in Sumter’s roads and bridges to improve the roads our families and businesses depend on every day, and helped bring $1.4 billion in new investment and 1,600 new industrial jobs to Sumter County, creating more opportunities for people to build a career and a life right here at home.

That’s what getting it done for Sumter looks like.

I welcome the opportunity to talk about my record, the issues that matter to Sumter, and where we go from here.
