Special thank you to Mary Miller Parks for driving from Spartnaburg, SC to Lee Academy in Bishopville, SC. She was here to share her story of her son, Brandon Stites, to high schoolers that will attend their Prom this weekend. Brandon was killed by a drunk driver on April 12, 2015 at the age of 17.
Thank you to Chief J.D. Dellinger from the Bishopville Police Department for also speaking to these young adults about making wise decisions when it comes to drinking underage and impaired driving!

** SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT – December 31, 2024 - January 1, 2025 **

Motorists across South Carolina will see additional law enforcement over the next two days as the SC Department of Public Safety conducts special enforcement during the Christmas holiday period.

SCHP troopers and STP officers will focus on enforcing all traffic violations, with a special emphasis on impaired driving, speeding, aggressive driving, seatbelt usage, and distracted driving.
