We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our long-standing partners at The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse for their exceptional support of our 10th Annual Golf Tournament.

The Old Cannery has a rich history of generosity in our community, standing by the Sumner Community Food Bank not just during our annual events, but throughout the entire year. We also appreciate them bringing a touch of their signature showroom comfort out to the course with the blue sofa featured here. Thank you for your continued dedication to helping us support local families.

Huge congratulations and a massive thank you to Megan!

Megan joined us last September to fulfill a 100-hour volunteer commitment for a school project. She recently completed her final shift before summer break, achieving her goal and making a significant impact along the way.

We are so grateful for her hard work, dedication, and the energy she brought to the food bank. The best news? She let us know she will be back to volunteer with us again next school year!

Thank you, Megan, for being such an inspiring example of youth service in our community. We are incredibly proud to be like you, and we can't wait to welcome you back in the fall!

A day of fun and fellowship.

This week, we celebrated a decade of community spirit and raised vital support to address food insecurity in our region during our 10th Annual Golf Tournament.

Huge thanks to Linden Golf & Country Club - Places for hosting the event, to Mayor Carla Bowman for joining us, to Fred Meyer and Kroger for their $10,000 donation, and to every and sponsor who dedicated their time and effort to the event. Because of you, the Sumner Community Food Bank can continue providing meals and support to local families in need.

Powering the Pacific Northwest: Gridworks

The team at Gridworks is dedicated to building the clean energy and renewable infrastructure that powers Western Washington. Recently, they brought that same high-capacity energy to the Sumner Community Food Bank by delivering a truckload of donations, totaling more than 1,000 pounds of food!

As you can see, their crew brought incredible enthusiasm and muscle to help us unload this generous contribution. We are beyond grateful for who are not only making our community stronger through their professional work but also stepping up to ensure our neighbors have the reliable resources they need.
