🎨🥣 The Summerdale Public Library is excited to welcome nationally recognized pop artist Michael Albert for his “Modern Pop Art Experience” on Tuesday, June 2nd beginning at 10:00 a.m.!
Michael Albert, an American pop artist renowned for his unique “Cerealism” collages created from cereal boxes and other consumer packaging, will bring his colorful and creative art enrichment program to our library for a fun-filled morning of art and imagination.
The program will feature numerous examples of Michael’s artwork, including posters he has self-published, followed by a hands-on collage workshop where participants will create their own artwork using recycled materials — especially cereal boxes! This interactive workshop is designed for school-aged children and highlights the importance of recycling and sustainability through art.
Michael Albert’s engaging presentation not only introduces children to the exciting world of pop art, but also encourages creativity, self-expression, and hands-on learning in a fun and accessible way for all audiences.
