Sulphur Parks & Recreation SPAR is a special tax district providing recreation opportunities to the residents of Ward 4 Dist. 2 of Calcasieu Parish.

Funded primarily by local property taxes, SPAR maintains over 550 acres of parks and multiple recreation facilities. 337-527-2500 Sulphur Parks and Recreation is an organization that provides parks & recreation services to Ward 4 Dist 2 of Calcasieu Parish. SPAR oversees over 500 acres of facilities including a recreation and aquatic center, waterpark and golf course. SPAR is also responsible for

creating and administering the sports programs for the district. It is governed by a Board of five Commissioners who are appointed by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. The primary means of communication for SPAR is by phone at: 337-527-2500. Any comment that incites violence against people or property, bully, stalk, troll, harass, or intimidate are not permitted and will be promptly removed. SPAR reserves the right to review/delete/hide any comment that is deemed not conducive to a family friendly page.

From summer free meals and youth clinics to pool days and pickleball, we have a full week of activities planned throughout the community!

The end of May is here, and Center Circle Pool is open this weekend! ☀️🌊

• Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Lap Swim begins Saturday at 8:00 AM! Lap Swim will be the same price as regular pool admission.

Lap Swim is designated pool time for individuals looking to swim continuously for exercise or training purposes. Swimmers will be assigned a lane (or may share a lane if needed) and can swim at their own pace throughout the session. Please note that Lap Swim is intended for fitness and training only, not open play or recreational swimming.

☀️ Summer Feeding Programs Kick Off in June! 🍎

Sulphur Parks & Recreation, in partnership with Calcasieu Parish, is proud to offer FREE summer meals for all kids and teens 18 and under at Kyle Street Park.

No cost. No sign-up. Just show up!

📍 200 Kyle St, Sulphur, LA 70663
📅 June 1 – July 24 (Monday–Friday)
Breakfast: 8:00–9:00 AM |🥪 Lunch: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM

Meals are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is the sign-up form for our annual Brimstone Kids Camp! The camp will take place on June 13th and July 18th. We will begin the check-in process at 8:45 am, and children can be picked up at 12:20 pm. Food will be provided at lunch (either McDonalds cheeseburgers or pizza).

This event is limited to children between 6 and 12 years old. We ask that you only register children who have completed Kindergarten. We are only accepting 80 students at this time. After that limit is reached, this form will be disabled.
