Murray County Launches New Mass Notification System
Murray County has purchased a new, more advanced mass notification system to deliver important emergency alerts, including National Weather Service severe weather and tornado warnings.
The current Nixle system (text 888777) will continue to work until the end of April 2026, when Nixle will be sunset.
We strongly encourage all residents to register for the new system today at:

This new Genasys platform asks for a little more information during registration so we can deliver more accurate, location-specific alerts and other critical updates directly to you.
We’re excited about the enhanced capabilities of this system and how it will help keep City residents safer during emergencies.

Division St.: from Vinita St. to Wynnewoos St.
Hwy 177/ W1st St.: Wynnewood St. to Oklahoma St.
