🎵A New Era Begins for Wildcat Band!

Sulphur Springs ISD is excited to welcome Justin Wallis as the new Band Director for Sulphur Springs High School.

Mr. Wallis joins us from Anna High School, where his band program earned Silver and Bronze medals at the 4A State Marching Band Contest and a 1st Place state title in the Outstanding Performance Series for concert bands. Prior to Anna, he served as the sole band director in Gunter ISD, leading students to multiple state-level honors, including another Outstanding Performance Series championship.

"I am incredibly excited to join the Sulphur Springs band program and become a part of the Sulphur Springs community. Beyond the opportunity to work alongside outstanding students, staff, and families, I am especially grateful to get to raise my family here in Sulphur Springs. I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that makes this band program and community so special."

🎓📢Information on Handicap-Accessible Parking at Graduation Tonight📢🎓

The unmarked cones placed in the parking lot are reserved for handicap-accessible parking. Guests displaying a valid handicap placard or license plate will have access to these spaces. Parking attendants will be available to move the cones and assist with parking upon arrival.

Monday night we had our Inaugural SSHS Robotics Banquet.

We had a great turnout! We were able to recognize all of the hard work that students, parents, and community partners have done to make this year successful. We also enjoyed some year-end awards and delicious Slaughter’s BBQ.
