Another busy holiday weekend on Sullivan’s Island is over, and we want to recognize the outstanding work of our Police Department and Beach Services Team.

Throughout the weekend, these dedicated professionals worked long hours managing traffic, assisting visitors, enforcing town ordinances, responding to calls for service, maintaining our beach access areas, and helping ensure that residents and guests could safely enjoy all that makes Sullivan’s Island special.

Their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to public service often happen behind the scenes, but their efforts make a tremendous difference in keeping our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you to every member of our Police Department and Beach Services Team for your hard work, dedication, and service to Sullivan’s Island. We are proud of you and grateful for all that you do.

Our police and fire fighters enjoyed a delicious catered lunch from Home Team today, courtesy of long-time supporter and island resident, Jeremy Anspach. We didn't get photos but can assure you the food and fellowship were outstanding. It's always heartwarming when our residents recognize our first responders for their hard work and dedication. From all of us at the Sullivan's Island Police Department and Sullivan's Island Fire and Rescue, THANK YOU, Jeremy!

The Sullivan’s Island Police Department was honored to host a pre-summer season team-building lunch with the Isle of Palms Police Department today. We enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Kairos Mediterranean, generously provided by LENS Sullivan’s Island.

Opportunities like this remind us how important it is to build strong relationships beyond the call of duty. Taking time to connect, share experiences, and strengthen communication helps us work more effectively together when it matters most. Collaboration between our departments ensures we are better prepared to serve, protect, and support our communities, especially during the busy summer season.

We’re grateful for the partnership with the Isle of Palms Police Department and look forward to continuing to work side by side to keep our residents and visitors safe.
