NEW ART! - Artist of the Month Craig Pursell Photography for Alaska: Photos & Poems of Places written by Faith Lane.

Craig Pursell is a photographer and a ten-year member of the “My Spouse is from Maine and so We Retired in Maine Club” who enjoys getting outside to photograph the beauty of this area.

The couple also enjoys traveling to new places and looking for wildlife, mysterious landscapes, and hidden stories.

Together they create books of poetry and photography about forgotten people, places, and practices.

These are a few of the pictures from our travels in and book about Alaska.

THANKS to all these wonderful folks and everyone else who helped clean up Route 1 in Sullivan. It is so nice to drive to the library and not see trash everywhere. And the positive energy at the town office on Saturday was simply amazing! Way to go, Sullivan!
