The Clothes Closet Plus

The Clothes Closet Plus We are permanently closed. All items are FREE. Donations are "accepted but not expected". All donations are used to continue this ministry outreach.

We take donations of clothing, toys, linens, baby items and senior items. Please be sure they are clean, in good repair and/or functional. Lamoine Baptist Church started this as a community outreach in a storage "barn" on the church property. It grew quickly and sponsorship changed to United Baptist Church in Ellsworth. It is now sponsored and run by the core group who orginally ran it and moved i

t to Sullivan. The name was changed to THE CLOTHES CLOSET PLUS., Jesus was born in a barn but didn't stay there; The Clothes Closet was "born in a barn" but didn't stay there either!! :)

Thank you, Doug King of Associated Builders, for giving us a place to move to. A thank you also to Bud and Gloria from The Cannon Outlet for the shelving and racks. Without the generosity of these people The Clothes Closet would not have been able to move to such a large, heated and accessible space. Over the last couple of years we also would like to thank Fashion Bug, TJ Max, Jaylessa's Closet and Mr Paperback for racks, shelving and accessories. Thank you also to God who gave us the vision and the connections to do this!

Hello, I see people are still asking about our Clothes Closet Plus so am going to put it out there....we are still closed. Everything we see out there is too expensive for us to run a clothing store giving free clothes and such to those in need. We would have to become a thrift store and charge you for the clothes you choose. That is not our mission... we wish to help those in NEED by being able to purchase items they need for free. Having said that, we continue looking for a place we can afford but it is just not out there.

Store was sold, so CCP had to move out.Currently, we are ooking to relocate. When and if we find another location, we WILL let you know. Thank you all for your support and we all love you! God Bless!

The Clothes Closet Plus is CLOSED. Someone has bought the building so we have to move. If we are fortunate to find another place, we WILL let you all know. As of now, we are looking and need your prayers so that we can continue our mission for helping others. God Bless and a big thank you to all the customers we have had thusfar. We will stay in touch.
