Another huge accomplishment for Black River Track as Connor Rhein and Kyle Vonderau punched their tickets to Regionals!
Connor continued his incredible season with a 2nd place finish in the 3200, running an impressive 9:45.21. Kyle Vonderau also brought home a runner-up finish in the 300 hurdles with a time of 42.12. Both will now advance to the Austintown Fitch Regional!
Austin Pamer had an outstanding night as well, qualifying in TWO events — placing 3rd in long jump and 4th in the 400.
So proud of these athletes and everything this program is accomplishing right now. Black River continues to show up and compete at a high level! 💛🖤

🏴‍☠️ Pirates Rally Late to Take Down Firelands! ⚾🔥
What a finish for Black River Baseball! The Pirates battled back with three runs in the final two innings to pull off a thrilling 3-2 win over Firelands.
Clutch performances made the difference as Bryce Murray worked his way on base twice and came around to score both times, while Josh Stuart delivered at the bottom of the lineup with two hits and a run scored.
On the mound, Dom Bell was outstanding, throwing a complete game and striking out six while keeping Firelands from getting anything going offensively.
Another gritty, hard-fought win for the Pirates—this group just keeps finding ways to get it done! 💪
