Dear Town of Fallsburg Voters,
My name is Paula M. Grogan, and Iโd like to introduce myself as a candidate for Town Clerk/Tax Collector for the Town of Fallsburg. Presently I am serving as Deputy Town Clerk/Acting Town Clerk. I came to Fallsburg in October 2022 to work as Deputy Town Clerk and began serving in January of thisyear as Acting Town Clerk. I bring with me several years of public service. I was the Facilities Support Tech for Sullivan County BOCES prior to my current position in Fallsburg. Most relevantly I served as Deputy Town Clerk in the Town of Mamakating for many years. My positions have all required the same high level of attention to detail, while also working with the public or other service agencies.
As a resident of the Town of Fallsburg, I care about our town, and I will work diligently to ensure that all constituents are treated fairly, and with respect. My years of clerical work, as well as being a team player, have proven my work ethic and skills. The Town of Fallsburg will continue to benefit if you choose me.
My current duties as Acting Town Clerk include being the Registrar of Vital Statistics and Records Management Officer, NYS Notary Public, and FOIL Officer. I am also a current member of the NYS Clerks Association.
Most recently, I was endorsed for the position of Town Clerk by the Town of Fallsburg PBA. I have also received an endorsement from the CSEA, Local 1000. They have recognized my dedication and understanding of the interests in supporting working men and women in our community.
I am looking forward to my continued service to the residents of Fallsburg. I always welcome hearing your concerns as it relates to improving and valuing our community.
