***Shooting Investigation***

On September 3rd, 2026, at about 7:10 PM, Suisun City Police Dispatch received numerous calls of a shooting in the 1300 Block of Blossom Ave.

Upon arrival officers contacted victims in a nearby vehicle. The initial investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) drove alongside the victim's vehicle and fired several rounds into their vehicle. Two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

This investigation is preliminary and ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to contact the Suisun City Police Department Investigations Unit at 707-421-7373. Witnesses can remain anonymous.

***Second Suspect Arrested in Marina Boulevard Shooting***

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, officers responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Marina Boulevard. The investigation determined that two individuals exchanged gunfire at the scene. Thankfully, no one was struck by this exchange. One suspect, Emanual Daugherty, a 20-year-old Fairfield resident, was arrested on the day of the shooting. As the investigation continued, detectives identified the second suspected shooter as a 16-year-old Suisun City resident. Detectives subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for attempted murder for the second shooter.

Today, detectives arrested the 16-year-old suspect. Immediately following the arrest, a search warrant related to this investigation was served in the 300 Block of Marina Boulevard. The personnel on scene processed the residence and collected evidence. We are committed to keeping our community safe, apprehending the people responsible, and supporting those affected by this event.

We would like to thank our community partners, the Solano County Probation Department, and our personnel for collaborating on this investigation. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. On August 31, 2026, at about 10:20 PM, Suisun City Police Dispatch received a call of a shooting in the 600 Block of Civic Center Bl.

Upon arrival officers located and secured the crime scene. Officers' initial investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) fired several rounds into the complex. No victims were located on scene or at area hospitals.

This investigation is preliminary and ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to contact the Suisun City Police Department Investigations Unit at 707-421-7373. Witnesses can remain anonymous.

The City of Suisun City is currently experiencing a cybersecurity incident that has impacted services at City Hall and public safety departments. Suisun City dispatchers are taking calls for service through the Solano County dispatch center. Suisun City police officers and firefighters will continue responding to calls for service. Many online systems and internal operations are temporarily unavailable as we work with cybersecurity experts to investigate and restore full functionality. We will provide an update in the next 24 hours.

National Night Out 2026 is coming to YOUR neighborhood 10.6.26

This year, Suisun City is taking National Night Out citywide!

Instead of the Heritage Park event, we're inviting neighbors throughout Suisun City to host block parties, apartment gatherings, front-yard meetups, cul-de-sac chats, and neighborhood get-togethers on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 5PM-8PM.

National Night Out is about building the connections that make neighborhoods stronger, safer, and more welcoming. It's a chance to meet someone new, reconnect with old friends, and help create the kind of community where neighbors know and look out for one another.

Whether you're hosting for 10 neighbors or 100, we'd love to see your block participate! We will issue registration information in mid-August.

We are aware of Assemblywoman Lori D. Wilson National Night Out Event on August 4, 2026, and we will have some personnel there too.

***Arrest made in double homicide. ***

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, at about 9:45 p.m., the Suisun City Police Department received multiple reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of School Street.

Officers responded to the area and located an adult male and an adult female in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds, tragically both died.

The Suisun City Police Department Investigations Unit was able to identify Kyle Jones, a 56-year-old, Suisun City resident as the shooter. On July 27, 2026, Jones was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail for murder charges.

No additional case information will be released at this time.

We would like to extend our thanks to our community, the United States Marshals Service, and the Solano County District Attorney's Office Major Crimes Unit for their assistance on this case.

🇺🇸 Thank You, Suisun City! 🇺🇸

Following another memorable Fourth of July celebration, we'd like to extend our appreciation to our Recreation, Parks & Marina Department for planning and managing another outstanding Independence Day celebration. Your hard work created a fun, safe, and memorable experience for residents and visitors alike.

Thank you to our Public Works Department for supporting the event through traffic control, event setup, and post-event cleanup, helping ensure the celebration ran smoothly from start to finish.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Suisun City Police Department, Suisun City Fire Department, and our public safety partners at the Solano County Sheriff's Office and Solano County Probation Department for their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to keeping our community safe.

On one of the busiest days of the year, the Police Department deployed 17 officers assigned to foot and bike patrol, two marine patrol officers, Community Service Officers, dispatchers, records personnel, and the Drone as First Responder (DFR) team, which provided aerial support for crowd monitoring, emergency response, and illegal fireworks enforcement throughout the event.

The Fire Department responded with 11 personnel, balancing emergency calls with proactive enforcement efforts related to illegal fireworks.

July 3–4 Highlights
⭐ 180+ patrol incidents handled
⭐ Approximately 20 fireworks-related calls
⭐ 11 illegal fireworks citations issued
⭐ 6 fire responses related to fireworks activity

Throughout the holiday, Police and Fire personnel balanced emergency response with proactive enforcement efforts, responding to calls for service across the community while helping enforce the City's fireworks ordinance.
