Love to sing and dance? Well, we've got the program for your family! Join us Monday, June 8, at 2:30 pm, as we sing and dance our hearts out with Courtney Lee! You won't want to miss this interactive musical performance for families with children of all ages!

Tickets are required and will be handed out one hour before showtime. This event will take place in Meeting Room 1.

PLEASE NOTE: Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4). Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff. Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated. Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.

Join us today Tuesday June 2nd at 2:30 pm for the first Building Club of the summer! We will have LEGOs, K'nex, wooden blocks, straws & connectors, and lots of other building materials out for you to build with! Participants can choose to free build or complete a challenge card! This program is for families with children of all ages. Materials for this program were provided by the Friends of the University Branch Library.

Kick off our Summer Reading Challenge with a blast today Monday, June 1, at 2:30 and 3:30 pm! Families with children of all ages are invited to join us as we learn about amazing animals from The Creature Teacher! This interactive experience will give kids the chance to see incredible animals up close while learning fascinating facts about their habitats, behaviors, and unique adaptations.

Tickets are required and will be handed out one hour before showtime. This event will take place in Meeting Room 1.

In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Fort Bend County Libraries' University Branch Library will host a special performance of "Polynesian Storytelling" today Saturday, May 30, beginning at 2:30 pm, in Meeting Room 1 of the library.

Shake your hips and move your feet, this is a Polynesian experience you won't want to miss! Our show features an eclectic range of traditional and non-traditional music, and dancing from the Pacific Islands. This journey through Polynesia includes fun-filled audience participation. Sharing the Aloha Spirit to those who love Hawaii and other islands — their land, people, and culture.This exciting FREE event is perfect for all ages!
