We'll let someone else tell you how much they enjoy Cullinan Park! Here's a Tripadvisor review from March:

"This park has been much improved over the years. Great, peaceful hiking trails along Oyster Creek and around White Lake. Also, don't forget to visit the largest Pecan tree in Sugar Land. Today, we saw a mama gator and 12 babies (about 6 months old). Lots of ducks and a few other birds populated the lake area."

Apple snails are definitely on our list of "least wanted." This invasive species can decimate aquatic vegetation if not kept under control. Luckily, we have more than 40 Limpkins at the park that keep the snails under control — apple snails are Limpkins favorite snack! Do be careful to not handle an apple snail or its pinkish red egg masses as they can cause skin and eye irritation in humans.
