It's hard to believe that the BU Community has lost another Rocket. Jack Stiverson, BU alum, who served our community with humor, joy and a constant smile, passed away. From working in our maintenance and transportation departments to serving as the Chief of the Berne Township Fire Department, he has left a tremendous legacy and will remain a Rocket Forever.

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the passing of our beloved alum and teacher, Lisa Kader (Reed).
From supporting the teams and bands that she loved to helping students experience hands-on learning with frogs, Rockets and experiments, Lisa was a passionate, dedicated member of the Rocket Community. As she said on June 8th, "If you don’t have my family, friends and tribe you need different people." We are so grateful that she was part of our tribe for six decades. We are all going to miss her...but, she will always be a "Rocket Forever."
