After nine years, we have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of Pallet.

This is an emotional moment for our team and for a company built around a mission we care deeply about: helping end unsheltered homelessness.

For nine years, we learned, grew, adapted, and evolved alongside the communities we served. Our goal was never to defend one solution or preserve one company. Our goal has always been to help solve the problem.

As the homelessness response landscape has changed, we have changed with it. Ultimately, we determined that Pallet’s current business model could no longer create the impact our mission demands.

This decision is not a retreat from our mission. It is a commitment to it.

We are incredibly proud of what our team and our partners built together, and deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

This is the end of Pallet as we have known it. But it is not the end of the work.

Great Morning! Happy Saturday Star Haven 🌟 Fans, Donors, Supporters and Sponsors! We wanted to send a "BIG" shout out to the Suffolk Community! As you can see when we all come together good things happen. Today we were able to provide an overflow of items into our "Little Star Pantries". These pantries provide some essential items to those in need.

Well the rain held out for this movie night!. Last night, Star Haven and Suffolk Parks and Recreation held a Saturday Cinema night at the park. Kids and kids at heart attended and had an opportunity to make their very own jellyfish with the staff. Other attendees brought blankets and chairs to enjoy some hot popcorn and SpongeBob Squarepants!

To those we had to turn away, WE ARE TRULY SORRY!!!We wish we could welcome every single one of you to join us this September. Unfortunately, we have reached our event capacity and are no longer able to distribute additional tickets.

We appreciate our community’s excitement, patience, and continued support. We can’t wait to see all of our ticket holders in September! 🎉🎟️

Suffolk Parks & Recreation's Saturday Cinema series continues on Saturday, August 22, at Holland Ball Fields, 6720 Ruritan Boulevard, Suffolk, VA 23437, featuring The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants (2025, PG).

Get ready for another fun-filled evening under the stars! While the movie begins at 8:30 p.m., the fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with exciting, family-friendly activities, including:

🐠 Magnetic Sea Creature Catch
🫧 Bubble play area

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to make unforgettable memories with friends and family. Admission is free for all ages! All children must be accompanied by an adult.
