The countdown is on! We are less than two weeks away from one of Suffield’s favorite community traditions and the kickoff to the Suffield on the Green weekend!

Join us Saturday, September 12, 2026, for the 46th Annual Suffield Parks & Recreation 10K Road Race, 22nd Annual 5K Road Race, FREE 2-Mile Walk, and FREE Kids Fun Run, proudly presented by PeoplesBank!

Whether you’re a serious runner, casual walker, family, first-time racer, or longtime Suffield Road Race fan, there’s a place for you at the starting line!

FREE Kids Fun Run — 8:45 AM
10K Road Race — 9:00 AM
5K Road Race — 9:15 AM
FREE 2-Mile Walk — 9:30 AM

Enjoy a scenic course through Suffield, children's activities, community booths, refreshments, and a bounce house sponsored by Wilcox Rentals!

The first 200 registrants in the 10K and 5K receive a FREE official race T-shirt, and more than $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded!

It's basically an event right out of the Hallmark Channel... Our event has grown and we have expanded our vendor area! We have a few vendor spaces available for vendors to fit along side our returning vendors (custom jewelry and hand-made goods, crafters, candles, holiday gifts, artesian baked goods, soaps and boutique gifts). The Summer Outdoor Movie Series on the Green wrapped up with a classic — Ghostbusters! 👻🎬

It was a beautiful night for a movie under the stars, complete with a gorgeous sunset! 🌅✨

A huge thank you to the Stephanie Salerno Team at Coldwell Banker Realty for making these movie nights free for the community all summer long! And thank you to everyone who came out, brought a blanket or chair, and enjoyed the movies with us. 🍿🎥
