Suffield Town Clerk The Town Clerk's office is the official record keeper for the Town of Suffield.

The Town Clerk's office is the information center and official record keeper for the Town of Suffield. We are responsible for recording and maintaining all the land records, (including deeds, mortgages, liens, maps and any other related documents), vitals statistics, (births, marriages, civil unions, and deaths), and all minutes and agendas of Suffield's boards and commissions. Any information avai

The Town Clerk’s office has introduced a new practice in order to ensure that June (Dog License Renewal Month!) goes even smoother for residents, and their best friends.

For renewal, a valid Rabies Certificate must be on file with the Town Clerk. Going forward, the Town Clerk’s office will email residents whose dog’s rabies vaccinations expired the previous month. Many of you have already received such emails, and we have received an overwhelming response of updated vaccination certificates. Thank you!

Certificates can be mailed or emailed ([email protected]), or feel free to stop in with a copy.

License Renewals will begin June 1, 2026, whether online or in person. Please note that Tag Numbers 01-10 are reserved for service animals.

You will need your document and photo identification, and will sign in front of the notary. If your document requires a witness(es), you must bring your own.

While we are able to notarize a wide variety of basic forms, please note, there are certain documents we are unable to notarize. Call us at (860) 668-3880 if you have questions.
