I feel fortunate to have worked for Curt Vandertie, and the impact he had on my life and career has stayed with me for more than two decades. I have worked with many leaders over the years, and Curt still stands out as the very best.

He treats people with respect, communicates openly, builds genuine relationships, and consistently focuses on serving customers and co-workers in a way that makes people feel valued and heard.

A cornerstone attribute about Curt is his belief that when you focus on doing what is right, decisions become easier because “right” becomes your compass. He lives by that principle in the way he treats people, makes decisions, serves others and helps others grow. His fairness, honesty, and steady character are evident in both his words and his actions.

An example of this was when Curt went out of his way to refer me to an opportunity outside the company because he saw potential in me I didn’t see for myself – even though it meant losing me as a member of his team. That recommendation changed the direction of my career, and I have now spent the past 21 years growing and thriving at that same company.

Curt was not only a leader I respected and appreciated reporting to; he also shaped the way I have led my own teams over the years. I have carried his leadership principles with me throughout my own leadership journey, and they have influenced how I support, encourage, and develop the people on my teams. His example taught me how to lead others well and had a ripple effect on the many individuals I’ve led.

I will always be grateful for Curt’s confidence in me and for the example he set. He is someone who brings out the best in people, earns trust through how he treats others, and leads with a strong sense of service and doing what is right. Those are qualities I deeply admire and believe would serve the people of Door County well.

An informed voter is a prepared voter, take some time to hear from both candidates before casting your ballot on November 3rd.

Democrats do not seem to care about innocent people harmed or killed by illegal criminals, because they haven’t done anything to address this problem and they advocate on behalf of breaking our immigration laws. A lack of enforcement of our laws and not demanding accountability legitimately puts Wisconsinites at risk. It needs to stop!!

Join us this Saturday at 9:30 at our party office for another Save Wisconsin Saturday with Lt. Governor candidate David Varnam! Less than a month before Election Day when we will save Wisconsin! A lot is on the line on November 3rd. Don’t sit this one out!

We had a great event this past weekend as we heard from Attorney General candidate Eric Toney, State Treasurer and candidate John Leiber, State Senate candidate Nic Cravillion, and Assemblyman and candidate Joel Kitchens. Senator Ron Johnson called in to speak to attendees as well. The theme was lowering taxes, protecting victims and holding criminals accountable, and protecting our values and way of life here in Wisconsin.

We also had a great panel discussion with Vanya who was born in Russia and Myra who was born in Pakistan, as they shared their perspectives and experiences coming from countries that have far fewer freedoms than America. Myra shared her thoughts on Sharia Law and how women have very few rights if any, under Islamic rule. Vanya shared his thoughts on communism and socialism and what we can do to make sure we don’t go down that path as a nation. They are both American citizens and are grateful to live in America with so many freedoms and opportunities compared to many other nations. We as Americans don’t appreciate just how good we have it, even with all of our imperfections and issues. We need to do what we can to defend American values and protect our freedoms and what has made us great! We can do our part by voting on or before November 3 and getting others to vote for Republicans.

Democrats have plenty of their own billionaire donors. Suddenly they are outraged by wealthy donors funding campaigns because for the first time in a while, their wealthy donors aren’t donating as much—except for when David Crowley flew to California recently to raise $$$ from large donors, including Sean Penn who supported socialist dictator/President Hugo Chavez when he ran Venezuela into the ground.

Since the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is suddenly so concerned about billionaires making donations, here's a reminder that their top donor, multi-billionaire Reid Hoffman, had THREE sleepovers at THREE DIFFERENT Jeffrey Epstein properties (his island, his townhouse in New York, and his ranch in New Mexico). Democrats have not returned one cent of the more than $15 million Hoffman gave them.
