Friends of Whitefish Dunes State Park

Friends of Whitefish Dunes State Park A non-profit volunteer organization that sponsors educational activities, park events, & park support

The Friends of Whitefish Dunes was organized for the charitable and educational purpose of supporting, assisting, and promoting the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources with interpretive, scientific, historical, educational, and related visitor services at Whitefish Dunes State Park. We endeavor to support the park, which is an oasis of the original natural diversity and managed to enhance en

counters with nature. The friendly use of the park's many outstanding natural features furthers the quiet, safe, and friendly atmosphere visitors expect. The Friends seek to enhance such memorable experiences and help park staff better serve visitor needs through their contributions.

It came to our attention that we had a date error in our last post. We apologize, we’re just so excited for all our summer events, and every so often a small error sneaks through! We appreciate your patience as we got this corrected. The Summer Solstice event will be on Sunday, June 21st. We hope to see you there! 😊
