Spark Notes: A Couples' Guide to Menopause, Intimacy, and Communication
Tuesday, September 29 - 6pm
A VIRTUAL PRESENTATION

Midlife brings real physical changes, and if you're only talking about them with your doctor or friends, you're missing half the picture.

Join Kelly Tull, WHNP-BC, menopause and s*xual health specialist, and her husband Adam Tull, for a couples-focused evening on menopause, relationships, and s*x. Together they'll cover what's actually happening in the body during this stage, why communication gets harder right when you need it most, and how couples can adjust, together, to find their spark again.

AI Literacy for All
Wednesday, September 30 - 6:30pm

Register Here: https://www.sturbridgelibrary.org/event/ai-tim-5368

If you feel like AI came from nowhere overnight and suddenly consumed the news, the economy, your work, and public discourse, you are not alone.

Whether you are overwhelmed by the flood of terminology, concerned about being unable to recognize when and where AI is being used, or just interested in learning more about the technology, you are invited to join Sturbridge resident Tim Hagberg at the Joshua Hyde Public Library for this free program on AI Literacy.

Topics covered:
* What is AI
* What is it being used for today
* How is your data being used by AI companies
* Why does AI get some things right, and why does it (convincingly) get some things wrong
* Things to look for to determine if text, imagery, video, or audio is AI-generated
* How to tell you're interacting with an AI agent rather than a human
* Why is AI so resource-intensive
*.Why are AI companies pushing for large data center construction projects

Tim is a USAF veteran and software engineer with over 15 years of experience that spans computer graphics systems, data analytics, 3D tools for artists and game developers, 3D commerce and visualization, defense simulation, and social robotics. While not a machine learning or AI engineer, he's worked in adjacent fields for most of his career and is an expert in some of the core technologies which have powered the modern AI boom.
