Today the Augusta Hotshot Crew came to visit our 2nd grade students. We have been learning about Wildland firefighters, smokejumpers, and government workers in our last benchmark unit! Students enjoyed getting to see all the tools and learn more about their job!

🇺🇸✨ Our third graders had an amazing day exploring history at Monticello! 🏛️
They learned all about Thomas Jefferson’s life, inventions, and the history behind this beautiful estate. Students got to see firsthand how history comes alive outside the classroom — what a great experience! 💙

🧡Bobcats Stand Up Against Bullying! 🧡
This week our Bobcats showed their true spirit during Bullying Prevention Month Spirit Week! Each day, students and staff dressed up to show kindness, unity, and respect for one another. Our school came together to remind everyone that kindness counts and that Bobcats have each other’s backs! 🐾💪

Come out to see third grade’s musical and artistic talents this evening at 6:30! Each student also contributed towards making a framed sea turtle; we have one for each class up for auction tonight, with proceeds going towards our PTA! 🌊
