The Landmark Center was designed for people needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) but wishing to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. Assisted living exists to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing homes. Residents are not able to fully live by themselves but do not require constant care ei

Last week we celebrated the monthly birthday parties. One thing is for sure, most everyone shows up for cate and ice cream.

We were glad to have Chaplain Carlen join us for Sunday church recently. The residents always enjoy seeing her and the friend who comes along to play the piano. We appreciate them taking the time to spend part of their day with us.

Big A Church came by for their monthly visit, and as always, we had a full house. The residents always enjoy spending time with them and look forward to their visits each month.

Tommy Shepherd stopped by for Wednesday Bible Study the other week. The residents always enjoy his visits and appreciate the time he spends with them.

The local Alzheimer's group spent the afternoon with our residents, bringing snacks and a fun game for everyone to enjoy. A few residents were determined to figure out the best strategy and kept at it until they did! We appreciate them stopping by and helping make the afternoon enjoyable.

Happy 99th Birthday, Dean! 🎉 Family and friends gathered to celebrate her big day and help make the occasion extra special. At 99 years young, Dean proved that age is just a number! 🎂

Jasmine organized a fishing game this month, giving residents the chance to see who could catch the most "fish." While some were successful, others spent more time untangling lines or accidentally catching a neighbor's line. Fortunately, the laughs came a lot easier than the fish, and everyone had a great time.

Our residents always enjoy movie afternoon, especially when fresh popcorn is involved. The biggest challenge is finding a movie that makes everyone happy, but somehow we always manage! 🍿🎬😁

Every fourth Sunday of the month, David Richardson joins us for church. He's one of the many wonderful people who help make sure our residents have the opportunity to attend church every Sunday if they choose. The residents always enjoy seeing familiar faces, and we're grateful for everyone who helps keep Sundays on the schedule around here.
