I really did not want to post this but must for those that cannot have their voices heard in District 4. This was sent to me by a voter.
I learned last night, that employees of the park dept were invited to the ribbon cutting at Murray Middle School by Sarah Heard.
Our commissioner didn't let the NAC board know, or the the rest of our public that live there. I learned of the ribbon cutting thru CBS news 12 as they were there to cover the event showing some of the work that has been completed and the vision of what is coming next on the campus.
Last night an older citizen (in her late 80’s and long time resident of Martin County)was out with her friends for her birthday dinner and Jonathon Long, the only ranger at Timer Tower Park in Indiantown said his Parks Department had the invitation from Sarah Heard. This is not right! Casey Cass agreed with me. That was monumental the work that has been done and the people that pay for this get the courtesy to know and be invited!!!
I had hoped for better conduct from the Commissioner for District 4 after she won. Guess not. But then again, she was elected only with mail in votes (again) by people that do NOT live here. The people that live here just don’t count. She only shows up when there are news cameras trying to cement her “Legacy”. She should try and change that to a positive view from the people that live in her district.
