It’s Dino-vember! Tina Rex (who may or may not be an alter ego of the Teen Services Librarian) came for a visit to the library. She wanted books about avoiding asteroids and some good YA novels. She was glad for the helpful librarians and for the stool to reach the top shelf since her tiny arms don’t reach well.

October Take & Makes will be available at all county libraries starting tomorrow Oct. 1. You’ll get a piece of plastic, a piece of parchment, colored pencils, and a keychain so you can trace and color your own charm. There’s enough plastic to make two or three 1.5 inch charms because of how much the plastic shrinks. Your bags will also have some special treats inside as well. Show us what you make!

Monday night (August 31st at 830pm ET), Epidemiologist Katelyn Jetelina will be talking at a FREE VIRTUAL EVENT along side pediatricians Dr. Christina Johns and Dr. Eric Weinberg about Delta and schools. While presenting, they have have an army of pediatricians answering audience questions in the chat. Last time the physicians answered more than 300 questions in real time.
