Pocono Services for Families and Children, Inc. Our mission is to provide resources for the evolving needs of community children and families, in support of efforts to achieve their goals.

PSFC is a nonprofit in Monroe County, Pennsylvania that provides integrated support for children and families. Locations in Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna and Tannersville. We offer early childhood education (infant/toddler care, pre-K, Head Start), school-age programs, and youth development through their YES (Youth Empowerment Service) program (ages 12–24) with emphasis on leadership, career skills, health, and re-entry support. Our mission is to adapt to the evolving needs of community children and families by meeting immediate needs and supporting longer-term goals. PSFC's classrooms are Keystone Star 4 and NAEYC accredited.

A special opportunity for PSFC! 💙

Earlier this month, PSFC had the opportunity to attend Asure50, an invitation-only event hosted by Asure Software in Texas.

The event brought together 50 leading small and mid-sized organizations from across North America for a few days of conversation, connection, and learning. We were honored to be part of this group and especially excited to have Michael Berman take the stage as one of just four roundtable speakers.

Michael shared his perspective on HR and the growing role of AI in the workplace, highlighting the unique considerations and opportunities these topics bring to the nonprofit sector.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent PSFC, exchange ideas with leaders from across the country, and bring new knowledge and inspiration back to our agency!

We’re getting ready for our Family Fun Day Tricky Tray on Saturday, September 12th, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at Dansbury Park, and we’re looking for donations from our wonderful community!

We’re seeking gift cards, gift baskets, merchandise, event tickets, services, and more to help make this year’s Tricky Tray a fun and exciting part of the day. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

Another school year has come and gone! 📚

We’re so grateful for all the support, encouragement, and dedication that made this year so special. From new friendships and exciting learning experiences to reaching important milestones, there have been so many moments to celebrate. Thank you to our families, staff, and community for continuing to support our children and programs throughout the year. Your support helps make these accomplishments possible, and we’re so proud of everything we’ve achieved together.
