Help send our West Central High School Softball team off to super sectionals today! They will leave from the high school in biggsville at 1:00 p.m and head by the gas station in biggsville! Come help cheer them on!

Congratulations to our West Central Girls High School Softball team! In order for the community and board members to show their support at their next game, The village board meeting has been moved to Tuesday June 2nd at 6:00 p.m.

The village of Stronghurst is looking for part time summer help as needed. Qualified candidates would need to be atleast 16 years of age with a valid drivers license. Job duties include but not limited to, mowing, w**d eating, help with concrete work, w**ding sewer plant, and all other duties assigned. Applications are due by 2:00pm May 4, 2026. Applications can be found on our website at www.villageofstronghurst.org or may be picked up at village hall, 309 east main street. Completed applications can be dropped of in the drop box on the side of the building or emailed to [email protected]. For more information, please call the office at 309-924-1525. Thanks!

Notice:The bathroom at the park will be closed until further notice. The same young group of people have decided to destroy the dispensers inside of it, steal all of the toilet paper, and spread it around the park. Yes, the cameras picked it up and yes witnesses saw who the culprits are, again. They can expect a visit from our local police chief. Stronghurst has a nice park, sadly parents are not supervising their children or teaching them how to act appropriately.
