Village of Streamwood The Village of Streamwood is an established community within the Chicago metropolitan area, located within the high-growth northwest suburban corridor.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. By posting on a Village media site, users
acknowledge that they are at least 13 years old. Parents are responsible for any
minor child’s posting or comments.
• Content that incites violence.
• Information that may tend to compromise or interfere with ongoing
investigations of law enforcement, police tactics, or the safety or security of the
public or public systems.
• Any action which disrupts the operation of service, including cyber-attacks.
• Content determined to be disturbing, inappropriate, in poor taste, or otherwise
contrary to the purposes of this forum. If a visitor violates the community guidelines, the Village may, but is not obligated, to
take any or all the following steps:

to items on the Village’s page to avoid conflict with the Open Meetings Act. If

🔋 Household batteries – place in the collection container near the front entrance
🚗 Car batteries – drop off behind the building
⚡ Lithium-ion batteries – bring inside during regular business hours (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4:30 PM)

The Village of Streamwood invites you to our 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony tomorrow at 7:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial (301 E. Irving Park Rd.).

Our Fire Department will also continue its tradition of remembering that day with a flag ceremony at 8:58 a.m. at Fire Station 31 (1204 S. Park Ave.).

Let us gather in reflection and unity to honor the victims, survivors, and heroes of that day.
