We are experiencing sewer issues. For this reason, any facility that utilizes sewer lines is closed:

🚫 Restrooms in and outside Headquarters
🚫 Bathhouse in Warbler Ridge Campground
🚫 Bathhouse in Russell Creek Equestrian Campground
🚫 Dump station & full hook-up sites

🚽 Port-a-potties will be placed in Warbler Ridge Campground, Russell Creek Equestrian Campground, and outside HQ.
Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. We are working to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Is it spooky season yet? Because the bats are already here!! 🦇🦇🦇

🫶🏼 Volunteers with Texas Master Naturalist conducted a survey to find out what bats species are visiting our park this year.

🎤 They use a pretty nifty recording device that can capture the high frequency calls of bats that we can’t hear.

🎧 Then they look at the captured sounds on a computer to help identify the calls that are unique to each species. How cool!!

Due to last nights rain, we’ll have partial trail closures.

🥾✅ Texas & Pacific, Raptor Ridge, and Connecting Trails are open to foot traffic ONLY. All other trails are closed.

🐴🚫 All trails are closed to horses.

🚲🚫 All trails are closed to bikes.
